Feeling Mellow
Sock monkeys...you can't help but smile when you see them.
A window display for a better retailer downtown filled their windows with sock monkeys and images of sock monkeys as a backdrop for their suits and little black dresses as promotion of an author's book about sock monkeys. I've walked by it several times on my way to/from where ever it is that I've been venturing around to downtown, and every time I pass there are gawkers standing in front of the window laughing and pointing in merriment. Besides being a cool window display, the sock monkeys are pretty darn cool themselves. Each has its own personality and cute little outfit.
